I have read that Nexium and similar compounds (prilosec, pepcid) cause a loss of calcium absorption. I am a post-menopausal woman with low bone density who must and is taking calcium suppliments. I also get occasional heartburn from a mild hiatal hernia. What are my options. I want to take calcium!
