Nipple piercing soon followed by pregnancy.

I had my nipples pierced in April 07 and they seemed to be doing their healing process normally. I sport 10 other piercings besides my nipples. I became pregnant in Mid August 07, & miscarried in November 07. Then became pregnant again in January 08. Since the first pregnancy my nipples are still producing crusties with a slight smell. Im not sure if it's an infection or if my nipples are just reacting to the pregnancy. FYI- I'm starting to have slight pregnancy leakage. I've had no pain, and no discharge. Other than the small amount that may come out when I remove the bars for cleaning. I may be over stimulating them with the excessive cleaning and slowing the healing process, but I'm very worried I wont be able to breast feed if I remove them because of the scar tissue. But if i have an infection I can't breast feed either. Does anyone have any further knowledge for me? I'm going to the doctor next week for a medical perspective but any advise would be better than me stressing about it for another week. Sad
