hi .. i had a surgical abortion 8 weeks ago and i still havent gotten my period .. i went to my gynac and she advised me to take regestrone for 5 days ... even now i havent gotten my period and i don't think i am preganant .. could it something serious ?
please help/advise

It can take 6-8 weeks for a period to come after an abortion.

Some women take 3 months.

Your body is healing, and is going to get back on track, it will do this in its own time frame.
