Hello, I am 49 years old. I am a mother of three children, they are all on college. Everything was functioning well until the menopause. That condition and all of its symptoms, I am taking it very hard. I have started developing depression with often mood swings so you might imagine how I interacted with people surrounding me. Unfortunately, it seems that no one understands the nightmare of menopause, husband nor friends.

Psychological changes that emerge within a woman during menopause are very often. Since they could last for a long period, it is possible for your environment not to understand, here including even family members. Counseling might help with psychosocial problems and there are various therapies for physical symptoms. It is possible that with the help of a therapist you help yourself and return your life back to normal.
