No period after 2 years. Could this be normal?

I am a 32yr old woman who had an endometrial balloon ablation 2 1/2 years ago. I haven't had a period since I had my ablation done. Two days I started to have some spotting and now it is becoming a lot more. I have done a lot of looking on the internet for reasons why and I am still unsure. Is this normal and should I be concerned and call my doctor?
