No periods while on Adderall

Hi. I am a 19 years old woman and I have ADD (attention deficit disorder). I have been prescribed Adderall and I have been taking it for a year now. Strange thing have happened... I have stopped having periods, and I am really freaked out. First I thought that I was pregnant, but that wasn't it. I really don't know what is happening.

That doesn't surprise me. This is happening because Adderall is a drug that contains amphetamine. Amphetamine can cause periods to stop. You must consult your doctor at once. This is a very serious thing. Don’t loose your head of course! But know that you will have to change the drug you are using, because this one is giving you such bad side effects.
