Not treating depression

Hi, my friend is suffering from depression but he doesn't want to take any medications for it. I have tried to convince him but without results. I know that depression may cause serious problems to someone, especially if not treated, so I would like to know what may happen to him.

Hi, first of all there are several types of depression and it would be good that your friend visit his doctor again. Some types of depression may last very short and may be caused by some tragic moment in someones life. Also there are other types of depression which may end by suicide so try to convince your friend to visit psychiatrist.
