I had arthroscopic hip surgery almost three weeks ago. Since then, the top half of my penis has been numb, and it has been very difficult to have an erection or to ejaculate. My leg was put into traction during the procedure, and I am assuming this is what caused it. My questions are: 1. Is this normal? 2. How long does it usually last? I'm going crazy.
Your not alone with this and I would like to know if you have done anything about this. I asked the nurse about this and she said it was normal and would go away after a few weeks. It has been about 4 months now and it did go away for a while. But I woke up a few days ago and the pain returned. Erections are still possible for me though but the pain is really annoying.
