Old breastfeeding debate flared up again and upsetting moms

Health campaigns have started again to raise awareness of breastfeeding benefits in comparison to bottle feeding and are putting extra pressure and creating feelings of guilt on mothers who want but cannot breastfeed.
Their new campaign sounds something like “babies were born to be breastfed” and in the campaign they are putting accent on the dangers of not breastfeeding and putting a baby at risks of ear infections, respiratory illnesses and diarrhea.

Although health experts only wish to reach the new moms and moms to be, they are creating great amounts of guilt on those women who are not able to breastfeed and these women just wish there wasn’t so much accent on the breastfeeding benefits.

Statistics show that over 70% of mommies are breastfeeding when the babies are born but most of them stop as they go back to work.
