My husband suffers from prostate cancer. He is on meds, but I‘ve found out that acids such as oily fish may help to prevent the spread of prostate cancer. So, can he take Omega-3 as a supplement? Will this do the work?
The researchers believe that eating a diet with the right balance of omega-3 and omega-6 fats may well help to keep prostate cancer within the prostate gland where it may be monitored safely or more easily treated with surgery or radiotherapy. I am not a doctor, but I don’t think it will hurt him to try.
