On birth control after abortion... but still no period

I had an abortion on January 13th. I started my birth control pills on the 22nd and had sex on the 27th with a condom that broke. Its now the end of February and I still did not get my period. I know the birth control wasnt fully effective when the condom broke and I'm extremely worried that I might be pregnant again... especially because I've experienced some brown discharge when I wipe. Can anyone help?

Take a preganancy test just in case! but they say that it may take longer for your period to come after an abortion.
