On tamoxifen because of breast carcinoma, can stand the side effects

Hello, folks. I was discovered a breast cancer and I was prescribed tamoxifen. However, there are some changes in my liver and it bothers me. I would like to know what to do. Should I ask my oncologist to change my therapy? I don’t know what to do. I would really appreciate if anyone could tell me something.

Hello. If you cannot stand its side effects, you should tell your oncologist. He might change your medication. I have heard that tamoxifen is not so reliable medication. Some people tell that it can cause other types of cancer. Endometrial cancer is the first in line. However, I am not familiar with the details. Perhaps, you should discuss this also with your oncologist. I hope you will feel better. Good luck!
