Ondasetron versus granisetron in the prevention of chemotherapy

I would like to found out some things about chemotherapy effects relief by medications. My brother is going to chemotherapy because of his cancer of the lungs. He was a smoker all his life and unfortunately now he is paying the price. He doesn't stand chemotherapy very well. He is feeling nausea and he vomits a lot. He was given a choice. Ondasetron or granisetron for his condition. Which medication is better?

My husband is a smoker too. I should, probably, show him this message of yours. Maybe it will make him understand some things. I can tell you that I have asked about your question my aunt which is doctor and she told me that there are no significant differences. They are very good in control of chronic emesis but they response to delayed emesis is not entirely satisfied.
