Ongoing Hematuria and Unexplained weight gain

About a year ago, Dr.s discovered microscopic Hematuria and i have just noticed that i have gained about 20 lbs in the last year. I exercise about 2-4 times a week, usually strength and toning, then walking/jogging. I don't eat horrible (or at least as bad as I used too) and for the past 6 months i have actually made a lifestyle change in my habits to lose weight. When the Dr.s diagnosed me with Hematuria, they had run all the normal test, up to and including a cystoscopy, with nothing showing unnormal results. The Dr.s told me that some people just come to have Hematuria and nothing ever does result from it and it may go away or i may live the rest of my life this way. I should mention that I did smoke and i just quit 2 weeks ago and still struggling, but doing good. Problem is, it just doesn't seem right. When it all started I had adominal pain and Hematuria. Now i weigh 20 lbs. more. SOmething is wrong. Please let me know if you believe i need a second opinion. I just don't know what to do anymore.

I forgot to mention that i am a 24 yr old female with this issue. Anyone know anything?
