Ongoing Irregular vaginal bleeding - perimenapause symptons

To Whom This May Concern,

I have been experiencing irregular periods. I have had them twice a month. Now at 45 days I had a two week long period getting heavier & heavier. My ob/gyn prescribed provera to build up my projesterone. After using the provera bleeding stopped after four days and returned on the 13th day being on provera. My obgyn told me to stop taking it two days ago. I am bleeding heavily now and feeling very strange (fatigued and faint at times) I am waiting for my doctor to return my call and I am trying to research if I should be on a different type of hormone drug or just elect for a hysterectomy. I am healthy with no problems of fibroid tumors and realize that I am most likely starting my changes. I just need to make myself feel more normal emotionally and physically in order to carry on with my working life commuting daily to NYC from NJ. I am desparate to find out some answers as to what would help me feel more myself again. Please help.
