Ongoing black period? What could it be?

I got my period three days ago. I’m concerned about it because is almost black, very unusually dark. What could it be? My periods are usually regular and I do not cause me problems. I’m 22 and thought that was healthy till this happened and is ongoing still.

Report it to your gyn. I believe that it is nothing serious but better make sure it really isn’t. I think that it is very important to have regular checks, ultrasounds and pap test twice a year. I know that most women think same but do not practice to do it. Stay on the safe side.
