Only using half my throat?

For the last couple days my neck feels swollen and it feels like I'm only using half my throat. Like when I swallow food, if I swallow to the left I'm ok, but if I swallow towards the left I feel like I have this huge lump. The food always goes down, but it feels like it has a more difficult time. I have really bad GERD and just started taking my Prilosce OTC again last night. Could that be a cause of the throat feeling?
