Hi all. I've recently heard somewhere that some men can have an orgasm without ejaculating. Is this true? If so, how is that possible? Does it feel the same??? Thanks.

Yes, it's possible. You see, orgasm and ejaculation are two separate processes and it possible that one can occur without the other. However, they usually happen at the same time. Orgasm is the release of sexual tension that has built to a peak. It includes an increase in heart rate, a surge in blood pressure, muscle contractions in the genitals, arms and legs, etc… On the other hand, ejaculation is the expulsion of semen from the tip of the penis. So, some men simply have orgasm without actually ejaculating. It is even possible to “train” yourself to achieve this – you need to learn how to your pubococcygeal muscle during sex – controlling it well, but before the point of no return, can prevent the fluid from being released (ejaculation). It is same thing when you urinate – man can stop urination midstream if necessary. Same technique can be applied for intercourse and ejaculation. Hope this answers your question.

| i am on the pill and suffer from a white discharge, i thought it was thrush until i went to my doctor and i found out it was not thrush and that i should go off the pill. how do i stop this and still stay on the pill?? |

IT WAS ABOUT TEN TO TWELVE YEARS AGO THAT I EXPERINCED AN ORGASM WITHOUT EJACULATION, IT HAS NOT HAPPEN SINCE THEN. I HAVE ASKED MANY PEOPLE BETWEEN NOW AND THEN WITHOUT ANYONE KNOWING WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT. IT WAS NOT UNTIL RECENT THAT I ASKED A FRIEND OF MINE AND HE AGREED THAT IT HAD HAPPENED TO HIM. SO I HAVE SEARCHED LONG AND WIDE BUT HAVE NOT GOT THE COMPLETE EXPLANATION OF HOW AND WHY THIS HAPPENS. THIS ANSWER SEEMS TO BE ACCEPTABLE. |

| I can orgasm without ejaculation pretty much on demand, especially when i masturbate. It's harder to do during sex. It doesn't feel much different but its great when I masturbate, there's no clean-up. But im worried about health problems due to this. |

i am 63 & take medicine for prostate enlargement
1-of side-effects is orgasim w/ no ejac..
i think medical term is retro-something
in other words the ejaculation sperm & semen went into my bladder
then later is discharged thru urinating
this is caused by the medicine not only shringing prostate
but also by RELAXING the muscle valve that usally closes during ejac..
Doctors say this is normal
and in my case after two yrs my muscle-valve got use to it
and i once again ejaculate.
however,,
i told the dr. that without ejaculation
it was like haveing a ice cream sunday MINUS the cherry on top...
for there is an added feeling with the semen/sperm flowing thru uretha.

1/ yes it is true.
2/ Its possible because the ejaculation and the orgasm while normaly part of the same event are two different actions .... and when you learn to control them both youll know what I mean.
2a/ think about when your having sex and you just about to cum and your orgasming but your seconds from cumming well imaging holding off on the cumming .... and all you have is the orgasming .... thats the best way I can discribe it ... hope it helps.
3/ no it dosent feel the same ...it feels so much better but so much more frustraiting cos werve learnt to cum and here we are stopping it from happening its not normal..(only cos its different to what weve been doing in the past)
3a/ The anchent chineese believe that ones life energy is stored in the semen so the idea was to enjoy sex by orgasming but not loose life essence by cumming.
