Hi. I was thinking a lot about right contraceptive method for me and I have decided to start using contraceptive pills because I could never trust another person and put all my future in its hands.
So, I start using some Ortho-Tricyclen Lo and, even though I was prepared for some side effects, I have experienced none.
Everything was going just fine until I started to suffer from expressed vaginal dryness.
I didn’t read anywhere that this could be caused using this drug. It's getting kind of embarrassing with my boyfriend and I would like to solve this once for all.

I have also used some birth control pill called Yasmin and I have also experienced the same thing like you, so I believe that there could be a connection between this vaginal dryness and use of contraceptive pills.
So, I had a little chat with my gynecologist over this and he told me that he doesn’t know is this caused by these pills or something else. He also told me that a lot of females complained about this to him and so there must be some connection. But he suggested me one practical solution- use of lubricants. So I took his advice and started using some vaginal lubricant called KY Jelly and all my problems disappear. My boyfriend has no problems with it and, even beside this, it making my sex a lot better.

I'm 18, and have been on tri low for about 4 months now and have come to notice a horrible side effect of this pill. Vaginal dryness. It makes sex next to impossibile, making it difficult to get it in, and sometimes it can just hurt. Can anyone tell me of a birth control pill that dosn't have this side effect I want to switch and fast. If there is no such thing I am off the pill forever. What's the point in being on a pill that is suppose to help out our sex life (in terms of taking pregnancy worries away) when you can't even get wet down there.

Before I took myself off birth control i tryed like 15 diffrent kinds , and i found all the ortho cyclens to be the worst , i finnally found a great low dose pill that had not one side effect , It is called ZOVIA its a little on the spendy side i believe when I was on it was 45 dollars a pack .
I only took myself off because i was really bad at remebering to take them so my bf and I decided to quit using any form all together .
But seriously ask your doc about the bc Zovia . It works like a charm!
