What is the treatment (if there is one) for ovarian cancer?

The treatment with every cancer depends on the stage and grade of cancer; for example whether cancer is effecting only ovaries or it has spread through the whole body, the histopathologic type of cancer, and the patient's age and overall health.
There are three treatments available for ovarian cancer. First one is surgery, to remove cancerous tissue. Second is chemotherapy to destroy cancel cells using strong anti/cancer drugs. And the third is radiotherapy, which is used to destroy cancer cells by high-energy radiation exposure. They can also be combined.
It is also important to notice, that before deciding for any treatment, it is wise to get a second professional opinion.
