Overweight and concerned about sex

I met this guy about two months ago. I really like him and we've been discussing moving into a relationship. He's already expressed that he really likes me and he's willing to wait if i'm not ready to have sex yet. It's not that i'm not ready or dont want it, more surrounding the fact that i've only had sex once before...an experience that i was pressured into and wasnt even close to pleasurable for me. I'm also concerned about my weight. I'm a big girl, and i'm not sure how this is going to affect our sexual encounters as i just layed there during my first experience. A couple friends have told me that the best thing to do for now is to just lay there and let him explore, only start exploring when i feel confident and comfortable with the idea of pleasing him. He knows about my first encounter and understands that i am very inexperienced. I guess my biggest concern is the fact that my body doesnt move like a smaller womans would, some positions may be harder for him to gain access and i'm pretty self concious about this...Would my friends advice be a good route for our first sexual encounter? What are some things that i could do to help me feel confindent and comfortable in the bedroom while i'm still learning?

You will be suprised on the positions you can get into and how access will end up not being a problem.

As far as "just laying there" that sounds like silly advice to me.

Do what feels comfortable, if you are not ready then wait, if it is worth it, talk to him about it. He likes you and wants more so do not stress about this. He knows your size and obviously it is not a problem for him.

I am now 33, been with my hubby for over 14 years, he was my first and only, but I still am amazed at what we can do and we are both big, me being bigger than he is, but still was can put all those adult movies to shame.

Big girls can work it too, do not cut yourself short already or underestimate what you can do.

my current bf was the first guy ive ever been with. i'm a bigger girl and he has had sexual partners before me. he's a bigger guy as well, but it isn't bad. there are plenty of things we can do. i was shocked at our first time b/c he was so nervous. he's had sex why is he nervous, right? well it was OUR first time. we had expressed love for each other before our first time. i think the thing you have to remember is the first time with anyone won't be roses and butterflies. especially if you haven't done it much. if he loves you or even just understands your situation. he will take that into account.if you want a relationship and he feels the same then he is attracted to you. he probably wants to worship you, so let him. i know it is scary, but in a relationship you have to let down your guard. my first time we did missionary and it didn't work out. he couldn't get the condom on right, he stood in front of the air conditioner, we couldnt get comfortable. we ran out of condoms once we really got going. nothing really went right, but it was one of the most memorable nights of my life. and we both laugh about it now. and ya know what? the second time....it was fantastic. just talk to him. tell him you want to test the waters, ask him if he could take charge for a few times until you feel comfortable. i'm sure he'd be more than happy to oblige. just keep communication open. if you can't talk openLY to your partner you shouldnt be with them.
