i HAVE READ MOST OF THE COMPLAINS. iT SEEMS THAT WE ALL OF US HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. I HAD MY SURGERY, (4 INCISIONS W/ THE USE OF SCOPES & INSTRUMENTS) LAST FEB 2007, UNTIL NOW I STILL HAVE PAIN AND OFTEN HAVE EITHER CONSTIPATION AND DIARRHEA.
I WENT BACK TO MY SURGEON TO COMPLAIN BUT HE SUSPECTED THAT I MIGHT HAVE STONES IN MY BILE DUCT & ORDERED ULTRASOUND AND BLOOD TESTS AND GOT NEGATIVE RESULTS. HE REFERRED ME BACK TO MY GASTRO, ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT THE PAIN IS STILL DUE TO FIBROMYALGIA, AND PRESCRIBED MUSCLE RELAXANT.
I STILL HAVE THE PAIN EVEN WITH THE MEDICATIONS. IT SEEMS THAT THIS IS THE CONSEQUENCE OF THE GALL BLADDER REMOVAL. I WILL CONTINUE TO RESEARCH ON THIS ISSUE, MAY BE WE WILL FIND AN ANSWER TO OUR PROBLEMS.

I had my gallbladder out in June 2007, and had no pain for awhile, but now, have like cramp pain down my right side, and sometimes it goes under right breast...
The pain down side is always there, even if I take very strong painkillers, it doesn't dull he pain..have been told quite a lot of people experience this pain, and DR are at a lost of the cause.
Have to be careful eating cheese, and cream, which goes right thru me, and gives me diaharea, ( normally constipated ! )
but can eat fried chips and fish, without any problem... Laughing Very Happy
