Wow, I didn't know so many people had this problem. When I was a little boy it burned when i started urinating. It would only last for a few seconds. That was around 11-13. Then around 18+ it burns the whole time I pee or get off. It burns for 10-20 seconds after. Dr's have given me medications but they never helped.

Sometimes I will get a drop of blood or 2 but thats very uncommon. Recently I noticed sometimes when I get off its a weak streem, I not even sure if it all comes out so now I am even scared more. Dr's seem lost, and god only knows what happens if you get off and some cumm stays inside your track. That probably give a big infection.

I know its not from no STD as i had these systoms long before I ever had any sex.

I have this same problem, but mine only burns when it is YELLOW urine, I believe that we all have an open wound in our penises and that the salt in our urine hurts it, I'm going to try not urinating for 24hrs to see if it can heal.
I examined myself and noticed that deeper in it is redder and thats where it hurts, wish me luck.

I had unprotected sex 6 weeks ago. 5 days later I had annoying itch and a little redness at tip of my penis. Went for std check up. 5 days later ball ache started, like being flicked in left testicle. Picked up results, negative, told clinic I had ball pain, refused to examine, they said you are clear of std must be something else, see gp. Go to gp next day, tells me epididimytis, gives me 7 day course of trimethoprim, sends general urine analysis off. Back to docs 8 days later, swelling going but pain still there and a tearing feeling in my stomach a four inches above pubic area. Tells me urine sample clear, there's no infection so won't give anything else. arranges an ultrasound of testes after nagging him, he also says I'm worried about the one night stand ( I am not a hypocondriac this is bloody hurting me). Scan shows nothing bar a few varicisoles. In meantime had aniother std test (4 days after finishing the trimethoprim). Two weeks after that get results all clear.They refused to treat me, basically treating me like I was a nut job, and packing me on my way. Amazing how the consultant was so skilled he can diagnose me to be clear without even examining me. I am now left with constant saddle soreness in my perinium which sometimes radiates through my testes, a constant feeling I need a Number 2, my left testicle aches on and off, more so if I ejaculate(feels like it isn't emptying) and aches for a long time after. My semen is also now lumpy(jello bits) and has a definated yellow tint. I am urinating constantly, which when finished, the pain starts in my stomach - I cannot definately describe it as buring, more like a tearing pain which radiates through my lower stomach into my scrotum, my bell end feels achey(is that the word).
Sorry its such a long post, but if this is anxiety, which I am getting due to noone helping, its bloody amazing what the mind can do. the pain is driving me to the brink, its an awful sickening feeling and I have had it for over a month, I cannot coope with it much longer. Please advise. Thank you

Hello my dear friends,
I know the hell you are all going through, having pain and not knowing what it is....I've been through it too 2 times in my life.
Anyway I have a solution...
Just lately I had Chlamidia and after a week of antibiotics it was gone (had a test to confirm it) but I still felt something not right... I still felt some burning and wondered if I still had some other STD...so had many tests done but nothing was found...
Stressed out for a couple of weeks (with almost constant pain on my penis tip) when I finally came to the conclusion that it was my stupid brain making the pain, beacuse all the times I was busy doing something the pain would disappear, instead as soon as I started thinking about my penis "problem" the pain would come straight back...!
It' amazing how much power&control the brain has over our bodies.
7 years ago I struggled for a whole year when I thought I had something wrong with my penis (it sometimes was painful and swelled a bit)...had all kinds of tests done, also a painful biopsy and all they found was that I did have something, but they did not know what caused it...with nothing else left to do, I accepted my condition, and after a few months I didn't think about it anymore and the pain dissapeared too...yes, indeed, it was my stupid brain causing the pain/swelling.
Therefore, when tests come out saying you have NOTHING, it usually means you have NOTHING! It means it's your brain making up the pain!
So, for all you guys that have come back negative to all the tests but still are in pain, it's definetly in your head, stress or so.
Now, the best thing is to do is STOP TAKING MEDICINES, it will just remind you that you are "sick" (when you are not instead!). Taking meaningless medicines will just keep the stress levels high and your problem will persist.
So, my advice, TRY AND FORGET ABOUT YOUR PENIS PROBLEM, CONVINCE YOURSELF YOU DON'T HAVE IT (which is actually the truth by the way!!), keep busy and JUST DON'T THINK ABOUT IT please!!!!
IT HAS WORKED FOR ME AND IT WILL WORK FOR YOU!!

Look guys. If you think back a little bit you will realize that yu had this problem when you were young--BEFORE your days of sexual activity. Now Im not saying dont worry about a STD. If you have had sex before its not a bad idea to go ahead and get checked out. If you have not ever had sex then you need to do a couple of things:
1. Do not hold it. If you gotta go, then GO.
2. When you go, GO! Dont get in a rush and stop peeing-dont cut it off.
3. Use a little toilet paper and wip it off when ou are done.
4. DRINK MORE WATER--LOTS MORE you should have atleast 64 oz. water per day. Some people find it annoying, but you should have to pee (without pain or burning) every 15 to 25 min. Dehydration is really common. but if you get thirsty--Its already too late.

I have had the burning since I was a child as well. Definitely not an STD or UTI. As far as I can tell doctors don’t take this problem seriously in men for some reason. If id doesn’t show up on an std or uti test they basically tell you its in your head.

It started to get much worse in my teens when I started to become sexually active and drink alcohol. Just for the record I am STD free. From the research that I have been able to piece together over the years it may stem from what I would call an irritable urethra (although medical science seems to deny the existence in men). My attacks (I call them attacks because it feels like my penis is being attacked from the inside by killer bees) were much more frequent after sex and especially after alcohol and sex. The pain would last for hours. I only figured this out through trial and error and self observation.

My attacks are totally related to the food and drinks that I consume, brought on by spicy foods and especially alcohol. I have almost completely cut out alcohol and spicy foods. My attacks are much more infrequent and much less painful than before.

I would suggest keeping a journal of everything you eat and drink, when you have the pain, and how severe the pain is. You may be able to draw a correlation with he right data.

Could it be HPV? My girlfriend was diagnosed on a pap smear before we met. She convinced me that 50% of all females have HPV, yet since I starting having sex with her my penis head has a burning\itchy feeling inside. I had a STD test and it came out negative.

I have the same problem!
thought it was a UTI for sure but they did a urine sample test and found nothing,cranberry juice helps a great deal as does drinking plenty of water.
It was bad a few months ago but seems to be getting milder these days,also was told it could have something to do with exercising,I notice when I lift weights sometimes the tip of my penis starts to burn
