Hi,

It isn't impossible, However, it is very unlikely that you were ovulating while on your period. Most women ovulate around 12-16 after there period has ended. So if you were having intercourse while on your second day of your period, I would be confident in saying you weren't pregnant. Perhaps it was just a unusually short period., It has happened to me several times. Count approx 14 days after your period has ended and that is about when you would be ovulating. An added note., An egg usually only survives for about 24 hours, so to be safe from unwanted pregnancy use some form of protection for the 24 hours before and after that day as well as that day itself. It is also important to remember that sperm can live upwards of 5-7 days inside a female body.

Good Luck!
