Alright. I have a little update on my previous post. I am feeling all weird, it all started on Tuesday (March 28th). I was supposed to get my period on Tuesday and my periods are regular. I never got my period, and that has never happened to me before. Last Saturday I started getting these sharp pains in my lower abdomen area, kind of like cramps but I've never had them before. So I was having my boyfriend tell me to go to the Hospital, the pains went away so I never went. Prior to those pains I slept for 2 hours and they started as soon as I sat down to dinner. It was weird.
Anyways, so I let it slide since the pains went away. It's 1 week later from those pains and I still don't have my period. It is 5 days late. I took a pregnancy test at a clinic on March 21st, it came back negative and I was to get my period the following tuesday, March 28th, sometimes since I am on birth control it comes a day later, but by Thursday I will have my period always. I went and got another HPT today and it, also, came back negative. I don't know what's wrong, maybe it's the birth control but it's making me upset because I have gained a little bit of weight too, so I feel gross.
Might I add that I was on birth control for 2 months, then after my last regular period I stopped taking it because I couldn't afford it. I was going to wait until I got my next period which was supposed to be March 28th to start my next pack which I got when I went to the clinic. I also had cramps, which was signs of having my period, I also had a creamy white discharge a few days ago, but it's gone now. There was no smell to it, and it isn't itchy or burning when I pee whatsoever. So, I am thinking of going to a clinic and seeing what's going on. Just want some opinions and whatever. Thanks a bunch, and please post some opinions because the last one has been up for days and no one has replied.

Okay, the problem you have isn’t really the big deal, you know. You have been on a birthcontroll pill and it might have caused such cramps and pains and the increase of the vaginal discharge and everything. You should have read the conraindications on the instructions so that you could be prepared for the side effects.
As your period was due on 28th march, it’s been 10 days delayed.. well, it can be due to this birthcontroll pill you were using for 2 months and than stopped. It can happen that your period is late, or even to miss the period but it usually happens after being on a birthcontrol for a long time. I think 2 months is a short period to get hooked to pills.
I think it would be the most logical, according to the symptoms you have, that you are pregnant. You said you couldn’t afford pills the last month so maybe, if you had unprotected sex, it happened. What do you think? I mean, your period is late, you have the cramps and the increased discharge and all of that are the symptoms of pregnancy. No matter your HPT were negative, I would advise you to retake it as it might have been to early for pregnancy to be detected. I think these days is the best time to do the test. When you get the results, you come back here to tell me! |
