Hello, I will do my best to answer your questions. PTH is actually Parathyroid hormone. It has 84 amino acids. His purpose is to raise calcium in your blood. This calcium then acts to decrease PTH’s secretion. Condition called hyperparathyroidism is a condition when there is a high level of PTH in blood. Low level of PTH in blood is called hypoparathyroidism. That is all I know.
