Hello, I am a woman who is 26 years old. I am pregnant with my first baby and lately I am experiencing PVC. Can you tell me if this is going to affect my baby somehow and will I have some consequences because of this condition? Thank you in advance for every answer. Hello, I will do my best to help you out. I think that PVC shouldn't affect your baby. But it wouldn't be good if 20% of contractions are PVC's. If that is the case, then heart muscle might weaken. Beta blockers can help in that case but using beta blockers can be risky for your baby. It can cause fetal growth retardation. I can only advise you to consult your doctor about all of this.
