Pain after liposuction

Hi. I am 24 years old. I had a liposuction (hips, abdomen and buttocks). I am happy with the result, the scars are small and not visible, but I am in pain now. I feel stiff and sore. What to do?

Hi. I had a liposuction and I was in pain too. I think it is perfectly normal, to feel some pain after such a surgery. It is really a serious matter. I was prescribed with some meds to control my pain. It took 6 days to relieve the pain. I was also prescribed with antibiotics to prevent infection. Your body needs time to heal. It is a gradual process. My doctor told me to avoid any activity that is more strenuous, for a month. He told me to come at once if I experience heavy bleeding or a sudden increase in pain.
