Hello, I am 25 and I have been having constant pain for the past week in my left. It does seem to be a nagging pain, also I am finding it difficult to stand erect or lift anything heavy. When I lie down, I feel the pain shooting up to the left side of my back. I have not had sex and not taking any medication yet. Have anyone had such experience? Thanks

I'm 28 years old. It all started with some pain in my left testicle, so I went to see my family doctor and was told that I had a bacterial infection. I was given antibiotics. I was told to take them for the ten days and call back if there was no improvement. After I was still in pain and noticed a small lump on the testicle, so I went back to my family doctor. We were both put on Floxin, my wife and I, and told to call back in ten more days…still no change. I was sent to a urologist and he seemed to be very knowledgeable and told me that what I had was a varicocele.
