Pain in fatty tissue only; started in abdomen now ALL OVER body fat

Back in April I had pain localized around my gallbladder-- under my right rib cage. The pain is like soreness or tenderness, but it only hurts below the skin and not any particular organ or muscle. No bone pain either. It feels like breast tenderness but elsewhere in the body. Otherwise I can describe it as like when you lean over a hard egde and bruise your tissue over your ribs....or hit your shin and the flesh is tender.
Gradually it spread to more of my abdomen. Then both my sides. Then up my back. Then into my fatty tissue on the arms and shoulders...then my neck, even my ears and face sometimes hurt!! It goes into the fat on my thighs, and then the pad inside of my knees, too. Sometimes it goes to the feet but that is rare.
I am most sensitive on the abdomen above the gut and around the belly button. Just brushing my handover my skin is extremely painful. Its like maybe the nerves are inflamed or shot.
After a while I developed chills at night. Now, I have headaches, I dont have a fever but I SWEAT a lot, feel nauseated, am clammy, generally ill and I sleep a lot, just to not "endure" this. I also can get lightheaded.
I have tried dietary changes and digestive aids, cleansing fasts, and even went to the ER complaining of pain and they did X-rays and said they didnt see anything.
There's no rash, no itch, no bruises... I dont notice any swelling or heat.
I have also had plenty of bloodowrk-- general chemistry, hormones, liver & kidney, urinalysis, etc still no clue whats going wrong.
What do you all guess it could be.....

I am personally feeling all the same symptoms that you are feeling. Did you ever get a diagnosis or explanation from a doctor that you were comfortable with. So far I was told I have some kind of virus but that's not enough info for me. My doctor has not done any blood work but referred me to a neurologist and his answer was a virus but thats not working for me. I have had the pain for 14 days now and have been lightheaded and dizzy for the past two days. The pain has traveled all over my body but has always remainded consistent around my abdomen and back. Please let me know if you have found anything out about your problem.

I feel your pain. I am having all the same symptoms that you are. I have been to two different doctors and I still don't have an answer. My general doctor referred me to a neurologist and his only reply was that I probably have a virus. So far I don't have a good answer. Have you gotten an answer as to what the problem may be? Tried any meds? I am getting desperate now. I have had the pains for about 2 1/2 weeks now and the dizziness for a couple days. I am going nuts trying to get the bottom of this mess. Any info you have gotten would be greatly appreciated.
