Pain in left testicle or groin strain?

i have been having the same problem for about 3-4 weeks now. went to the dr. last week and i told him about the aches i had in my groin area, dont ask why , but i didnt tell him about the aches in my left testicle, he felt around for a hernia, he said he felt nothing. so 2 days ago i went to him again, this time i told him i was aching in my left groin area and left testicle, i told him i felt around my testicle to see if i could feel anything abnormal, i told him as far as i knew everything seemed fine, he then examined me again, said he couldnt feel anything in my testcle area, he then examined my groin area and this time he said i have a slight hernia. didnt say how long it would last, didnt say what i should do about it nothing. the aching occurs more when i sit on the computer for a while. when i lay down in my lazy boy chair, the aching seems to go away. it also seems to ache , or atleast i seem to feel it more also when i lay on my stomach on that side more. i wonder if this can be caused by anxiety and tesion also? ive been off work for the last 2 years now for anxiety, panic attacks etc. have tesion headaches, backaches, alot of tsion issues.

My left testicle is very uncomfortable. When I set down it bothers me alot!!!After laying down for a longer time (sleeping) I wake up feeling fine. I feel ok when im walking and just standing. Im really worried as to what can be the problem. I find out my ultrasound results on tuesday.

Hello this is new to me as for posting. Researching again the same issue (and it is getting to the hot time of the year so again, enhanced pain) I have had for years worth of this issue of a dull ache(My left) groin pain as born with a varicose to the (Of course) left testicle as large as the testicle itself. Running at 50 years old, now with this constant pain gradually worse each year and getting me to a clinic anymore is virtually impossible after the gauntlet with Sutter Health in Yuba City. Seems the only problem was the tumor found that was the unlimited cash in my wallet (Over $20k so far). 10 Years before I attempted to resolve this issue with the same ridicule from Sutter North medical center and dr. beiler who kept medicating my wife for migraines that after she passed out 6 months later, emergency room etc found a tumor and cyst the size of a golf ball on her temporal lobe. What makes me mad as hell is a simple x ray showed this. Before the exam in the ER they assumed she was an over dose on drugs as the rest of the town. I was pissed of Rideout Memorial and their integrity. Hilariously after the x ray they couldn’t believe they had a real patient. No referral was ever done for these headaches just another prescription because”these are new”. She always giggled when the same reoccurring déjà vu euphoric day dream would happen “ We are up at Chuck’s ranch by the lake and something’s wrong” Then she would call Karen and find out if there mother in law was on her way down. Dr. Engel a neural surgeon started working there that week. I can’t thank you enough for being her angel. Three days after surgery she adamantly wanted to go home. Dr Engel released her with some new prescription with a warning to watch for a reaction of spots which a day later was happening and I called in. Dr Engel’s exchange had us go to the ER and I brought the other stuff with. The intern on duty A black guy so happy (It was voting Tuesday) cleaning off the gurney and tables with some used gown bragging how he wants the marijuana law to pass in Ca. (11 Years ago now?) So every one is on dope and how he’ll make more money. Dr. Engel has a prescription of some barbiturate for her and this guy throws a fit “You are a liar you’re lying! You are just looking for drugs! Nobody has brain surgery and leaves 4 days later” I amazes me of the arrogance and the stupidity I have had to deal with No wonder the joke is walk in “Ride-Out” I have BC BS major medical so it means I have to pay for everything and appropriately renamed them the blue bastards. I believe insurance is a polite word for legalized extortion. The head trips that of these so called doctors and the rest of us are just cattle to the slaughter so what ever pays they will gear up for and if you fall out of this spectrum; to bad.. YOYO (Yur On Yur Own) Thru the “Normal” channels is the care everyone gets. Then alone with the urologist stating that I was “self diagnosing” “Looking for pain drugs” and “You should suffer” I t amazes me that many of these manipulative bastards aren’t shot. I didn’t even take aspirin. (Now I do, That Naproxum Sodium 1 tab helps the pain though) The only thing I do take is GNC Mega men. Cynically anymore I have to laugh at the mid day commercials on TV promoting to go to learn to help ruin someone else’s life and I place the medical profession as corrupt. It has since it has been 4 years I have gone to a doctor and will purchase another Lincoln with the cooled seats instead… As for the recent chronological (4 years ago): It is embarrassing enough and as age goes there is time to follow through with this. I started the Atkins diet and lost 40 pounds. The irregularity from lack of fiber and the hard pushing caused immeasurable pain to where several times going to the family doc and finally having to “get bent” to get some action as the radiation was from below my rib cage (Left side) clear down my left leg. (Rest of my family still goes, Good Guy. Any more I am grading my life on a curve.) This went to an appointment with a colonoscopy which came back excellent. Then to some donut looking scanner with a dye IV injection this showed a scar on a kidney, which one I don’t know but no issue. They called the same first name as mine and someone else jumped up and took off, My appointment was an hour late. They call name again I go to the counter to find out that that I was already done so the 10 minutes that they shoved me thru this donut cost $2000.00. I paid this. And after the mix-up I asked if I was paying for both and why it took long e for the other “Joe” to come out??? Well anymore I guess “Moooo”
Then off to the local idiot urologist…
I asked for an ultrasound to see the point of pain that is at my lower left abdomen with no avail. Don’t know if the donut machine did this already. This pain point is at the V of the groin and basically have a hard time getting moving in the morning. I sleep on this location as holding pressure on it. Getting a sock on this foot is terrible as to lift the leg puts pain in this V location. Maybe 2 issues plus I still hate the medical system. As for the fiber and being regular this has helped a lot. Loosing the weight and exercise did not help at that point back to 265. It just started the issues of how learn to operate my body even though it really took off the weight / got to 219 and stuck. Retrain eating habit for regularity. Less push less pain. Recently I found that taking C supplement has helped enormously with the mild bowl irritability, but noticed dry nails easily chipped.

Well for my experience as a child I got tired of being prodded and lied to be left alone of the issue. Physically active some injuries probably the scar and pissing blood but it went away no harm no foul young adult stuff never went to doc. Unfortunately age has it’s issue of enhancing things. So briefs or boxers. Boxers; but sometimes I need the support. Yes standing or walking alleviates the pain. Sitting which the testicle just happens to lay on epididymis. This sends the dull ache that will radiate thru the leg , backside, groin. Cool helps. At one time I was running and this groin V location stung like hell. Still no answers, cant find anything wrong. I have settled into my lot in life and am not going to get screwed anymore by this medical system. I fear if they admit will be because they need parts for a donor match. Ill be setting there wondering who sent flowers…

Sorry for the jumping around, but remember your own best interests. If you went to a gas station and the service was crap you move on. Just like public schools, get a voucher, move to a good district, let them go out of business.

As normal male, the left testicle hangs lower. The Epididymis on the testicle when ' for me' when I sit ends up being rested on and with in a few minutes this ache will follow that will last for the day. Kind of the recovery time pain of a boot to the balls. Hence "Boxer shorts" Driving can be agony so reajusting my junk can alliveate some of this issue. I have confermed triggering this just by supporting at the "Epididymis" location for a few moments and the pain goes thru the groin area. I find myself scooting forward on chairs so things can hang. The time period causes (20 minutes?) the mind to run that there is a problem and not putting a finger on it (This is what I did to support the testicle at the Epididymis location to trigger the pain so no pun intended (ha ha)) causes anxity wondering whats going wrong hence running back and forth to these non divulgent doctors. (They have house payments too...) Also COMFORTABLE clothing that wore great ONCE before wash then you need a shoehorn to get back into.. Too tight, heat from heavy clothes, getting old, and of course all that money these insurance and doctors need...

I had the same thing as everyone else here. My doctor told me the reason i cant pinpoint the pain is because the nerve that runs at the bottom of the spine and into the testicular area is aggrevated and it is "radiating" into my testicle region. comes from swelling in the lower back muscle squeezing the nerve against the spine.

Basically, she said to take aleve with food 2x per day for 2 weeks and work on sitting and with better posture to relieve the pressure on the lower back and to sleep on my side too... with pillow between my legs---- thats why it hurts while your sitting and not standing... your weight shifts from your lower back to your hips and knees when you are standing up- hence no pressure on that nerve. Hope this helps all of you guys.

IVE BEEN HAVING DIFFERENT PAINS IN MY GROIN/ TESTICLE AREA
LEFT TESTICLE IRRITATION, ALSO PAIN ABOVE AND AROUNG THE PENIS. PAINS DOWN THE INNER LEG THIGH, ONE SIDE SOMETIMES THE OTHER SIDE. IVE SEEN MY UROLOGIST, TAKIN TEST
I WAS TOLD IT WAS ENLARGED PROSTATE, BUT I DONT HAVE TROUBLE
URINATING. I DO FEEL BAD SOME DAYS. I TOOK ANTIBIOTICS
IT WENT AWAY AND CAME RIGHT BACK. I FIND WHEN I DRINK CAFFIENE OR EAT CHOCOLATE OR SPICEY FOODS IT REALLY IRRITATES IT.. SO I WENT OFF OF THE CAFFIENE AND CHOCOLATE ETC.
THE PAIN WENT AWAY. BUT STRAINING ALSO SOMETIMES IRRITATES
IT ALSO. TILL THIS DAY IM NOT SURE WHAT ECXACTLY IS WRONG
WITH ME. IVE BEEN SUFFERING WITH THIS FOR 7-8 YRS.
IT BOTHERS ME MORE WHEN IM SITTING AT MY DESK FOR LONG
PERIODS AT A TIME ALSO. I ONCE THOUGHT IT WAS INQUINAL HERNIA
BUT DOCTORS SAY THEY CANT FIND ANY HERNIA.
