I'm not sure how to describe this condition. Sometimes when I run or do some form of heavy exercise, I experience pain in the left side of the stomach (not the right)) like the muscle is tightening inside. After I rest for a period of time, the pain stops when I stop doing the heavy exercise such as running. I hope it's nothing serious but could someone tell me if there is there a problem associated with pain on the left side of my stomach?

I have the EXACT same condition, whatever it is. i've had surgery to repair a hiatal hernia that i happened to have. the doc thought that was the problem. my stomach still burns when i run.

I started experiencing the same pain after a 10K two weeks ago. Not sure what the cause is. Now I experince it when running and lunges with my right leg forward. I though I may have over stretched my muscle in that area. It is annoying but not enough to stop me from running a 1/2 marathon the following Saturday. Hopefully, it is just a strain...
