Pain three weeks after surgery

I had an ovary and tube removed on the 18th December. The scan and pain showed that the problem was on the left side, however, when operating they took out the right hand side and said the left hand side was fine. It has been three week since operation and the pain has subsided. But I am experiencing some sharp pain in lower abdomen and higher up just around the naval area. I also spotted small hole and some discharge from naval (where I had a stitch placed after operation). I have been on my period for 11 days now and have suffered bad cramps throughout. Should I take further action or do nothing. Please help
