| For about 5 years I have had problems after sex with extremely painful urination. It is rather close to the pain of urination with a UTI but goes away after about half an hour, although sometimes there is some swelling and it can remain uncomfortable for at least that long. I've tried with or without condoms, with or without lube, with or without oral sex- very gentle sex, etc. Nothing seems to change it very much at all. If the sex goes on longer than about 5 or 10 minutes the symptoms seem to be worse, but that goes without saying if my tissue is irritated and engorged- thereby making it harder to pee, I'd imagine. I do have HPV, but this has been going on since before I had it. Is this common? |
