Hi, I started using painkillers after a car accident, and I they helped me get through that awful period. I am not in pain any more, but I still use the drugs. My husband is upset because of that, but I can’t help it. As far as I’m concerned, painkillers 4ever!

Oh, that’s very smart of you. If you have experienced the same thing with painkillers as I did, you wouldn’t say something like that. Maybe they helped you get out from one nightmare, but they will easily lead you to another one. Your husband is right to be upset, and you should at least respect his worrying about you. I used vicodin for couple of years, because I didn’t have any problems getting a prescription. I thought it would last 4ever, but one day I stopped getting vicodin, and I had no one to get it from. That is how my nightmare started. I constantly had muscle pain, diarrhea, cold flashes and insomnia. My life was impossible, and I stopped going to work. If my dear friend didn’t help me by making me go to a rehab, I don’t know how would it end.
