Hi, I work in a bank for 20 years. It was never a hard job to do, but in the last few months, I’ve been feeling anxious and claustrophobic in my office, and have panic attack before work. Any similar experiences?

Hi, in the last couple of days, I’ve been having panic attack before work. I guess I’m afraid I will be fired, and that’s exactly what will happen to me if I don’t stop having those attacks. Yesterday, just before a meeting, I started sweating and shaking, and I locked my self in the office. I couldn’t get out, because I thought I would pass out in front of everybody, and that would be so bad for my position! It would be one more reason for my boss to put someone else who is more reliable on my position. Today just before I went to work, it happened again. I had a panic attack, and I barely managed to calm down after half an hour of agony. I decided to take a day off tomorrow, and to visit a doctor. I’ll ask him to prescribe me zofolt or something like that, because I can’t keep living like this any more.
