The problem you guys are sharing involving the burning sensation after ejaculation could possibly be the cause of caffeine. If you consume large amounts of caffeine throughout the day, you will experience the discomfort after ejaculation. Take the time and prevent from drinking any caffeine for one day, see if the problem persists.

First I'm surprised, but happy, that I'm not the only one and others share the problem. For advice, not wishing it on anyone.
But I'm also surprised at the number of possiblities for the reason.
Some say during, others seem to be after. Some say both.
I'm a guy who use to masturbate alot. Never had the problem.
Then I stopped for a couple of years, no sex either.
Then when I did masturbate, wow, it burnt very badly.
I thought perhaps it was from lack of use. Not trying to be funny here. I mean the tubing that carries the semen. But that wouldn't explain the urethra burning too.
So, in the end I'm stumped. It could be meds I'm taking, it could be caffine as I drink alot of coffee to conteract the meds. Or it could be
some of the other reasons you all listed, save the STDs as I've not been with anyone in 10 years plus with testing done too.
I will hope for all of our sakes that it's not some new uncurable and nothing too indurable for any of us. Good Luck to All.

Joking aside,

I`m CONVINCED its all in my head. If i read about it think about it, he tingling in the penis is worse. If I get on and occupy myself it goes completely. The penis is one of he most sensitive parts of the body and its all too easy to exaggerate `natural sensations` and magnify them out of proportion.
What doesn`t help is people posting information from `worried well` websites linking it to HIV and the likes.
I had this 2 month ago (tingling) and it went for a month and now that I`m `anxious` again and thinking about it, funnily enough its back.

I'm 29 and I've had this condition for maybe 8 years now. It's really strange, sometimes the symptoms disappear completely and sometimes they continue for months. But I've seen the pattern, after ejaculation it's starts to burn. The itching in the penis never disappears completely. Sometimes it just starts and disappears. If I haven't ejaculated for a long time a lightly burning feeling starts to develop in my prostate as well. I did several times the tests, once it was positive for trichomonas, but after that it was negative and I cannot really tell whether there is an infection or not. I have to go again to an urologist, but I don't have the patience. I recall that as a child I had burning sensation sometimes. I am almost sure it is prostatitis but don't know whether bacterial or auto immune.

in the cosmo world this is whats called the mystical man period

it burns down your shaft, comes every once in a while and makes you go pee like sea biscuit which is exactly what you should do to make it go away faster

practically every guy comes across this every once in a while. usually two, three months in between...sorry to break it to you gals but you aint that special

that bitch aint no std!

its just not covered enough in todays media. thats why its so heart warming to see y'all gathering around here researching it.

lets hope it will get featured on ugly betty or the tyra banks show soon to finally clear this mystery

until then just chill, hug your willies good night for ten minutes and it will be gone. promise

xoxo

I think its caffeine. It stays in the system for ages. Also another cause might be citric acid. There is an actual medical term for this problem but I cannot remeber it, its nothing to worry about though.

i have that same problem. After a few drinks or smoking marijuana are the only times i get that burning sensation all throughout the shaft of my penis im sure its just semen getting into the urinary track. A warm towel seems promising though i have not tried it. I often have to take a piss whenever it happens. My best suggestion would be to take a piss before masturbation or having any type of sex whether it be oral or vaginal or anal penetration. Maybe take a warm shower and just piss in the shower. Or I would masturbate a second time just to clear everything up, it works for me. But the burning sucks, its never happened during intercourse though.

hey guys.

Im 21yrs old. having the same issue.
ask your doc about prostitius...

basically if i have sex everyday there is no pain... if i dont have sex for 2 or more days. there is that burning sensations. seemingly more after longer periods of not having sex.

anyways. sometimes if i pee when i have to shit.. it also stings.
it seems definatly true that drinking more water helps.

I went and had several tests done. a urologist told me it was prostititus.
something about my prostate flairing up irregularly. he said its probably the cause of the burning during ejaculation and during urination (whilst sitting for #2)

so ok... that all might sound dumb... but it kinda makes sense.
if you do have prostititus. it cant be cured or so i gather. however seveare cases can be treated...so do some online research ask a doctor.

post back if anyone else has had the same response as I have.

p.s. please forgive my poor spelling.
