Pentosan for Intestinal Cystitis

Finally, my mother has been diagnosed with intestinal cystitis. It was very hard to persuade her to see a doctor, she thought that it was quite normal for a woman of her age too experience problems she had. Now she has been given Pentosan for Intestinal Cystitis and I know that here is a new battle ahead of me, to make her take her medication regularly.

I suppose you have made a first step in making your mother realize that hear health condition is not that good. Older people do tend to avoid doctors, as if it the entire situation reminds them of their age and they are even prepared to endure the pain and discomfort, just so they would not go to a doctor. Pentosan should help her, it is a medication created to deal with intestinal problems.
