Hello, can you explain me something about the hearing disorders. What is the percentage of the hearing problems heredity in a family? I ask this because for my grandparents (mother’s side). They both did not hear completely and had speaking problems too. But that was something they got during life, they were not born with it. I ask this because I am concerned for my children.

As far as I know, there should not be any problems, especially because of the fact that they it was not a congenital disorder. But still, they had some illnesses that induced hearing loss, perhaps there is something that should be analyzed, perhaps prevention for those illnesses should be executed.
