hi, I did a pregnancy test at home with my early urine and it was negative but i havent have my period for 9 days now....delayed. Am planning to go for a blood test or for a ultrasound. But i want to know which one would give the correct result...the blood test one or the ultrasound one. Please let me know. Thanks. And another question is .....Will Emergency contraceptive pills delay mensuration....as for me its already been 9 days. Let me hear from u. Thanks and have a great day ahead.

The emergency contraceptive pill will generally cause changes to your cycle. Some girls get their period sooner than expected, and some are delayed. If you go to the doctor they will give you a blood test as you would still be too early for an ultrasound to show much

i did my Home perg. test for the secomd time and its still negative....
Does that mean that the Emergency pills that i took last month is delaying my period for about 12 days now.....How many days does it usually take to gat the mensuration......since its delayed for already 12 days now. Please let me know...... i am worried too much.
Thanks

Many women have huge delays in their periods.. Regular birth control is always best, ECP is meant to take in an emergency situation. So you do not go through this again , consider using birth control pills. Or another method that works equally as well.
