Period 1 week late! Pregnant?

I stopped taking my birth control on July 18th and on August 3rd I got my period. I wasn't due for another two weeks after that, but since I recently stopped taking the pill, I knew my period would be a little off. Well, I was supposed to get my period last Wednesday, the 30th, but it still hasn't come. It's a week late so far.
I was just curious that it may be another effect of me stopping birth control or worse, pregnancy.
My bf and I have had unprotected sex since stopping birth control.

this happened to me after i got off the pill, i thought i was pregnant when my period was late, sometimes it takes months for ovulation to kick in after stoppin the pill....your chances of being pregnant are slim but everyone is different so wait another week or so and take a home pregnancy test...good luck!
