I just recently had unprotected sex (by choice), and I just got my period two days later, which is on my normal schedule...but I'm wondering if there's still any risk of getting pregnant from that instance of sexual intercourse...? I've heard about spotting about a week after conception, but this is obviously a period. Because I have my period, am I definitely NOT at risk to be pregnant? I know it's too early to tell anyways, but I like to be EXTRA careful (even though unprotected sex isn't exactly careful haha)...imput pleeeease!  |

I'm hoping someone responds to this. My husband and I made love the morning that I thought my period was starting. (there was some yellowish discharge with some red in it). Then for the rest of the day and part of the next, my pre-men. cramps went away and so did the blood. Now my period seems to have started with slight cramping this morning, so I took some Tylenol, because I figured I wasn't pregnant. After reading some more I'm concerned that I could have been(worried that I took Tylenol). But how soon would a test reflect a yes answer if I was pregnant? I would be very happy if we were, but looking for some reassurance one way or another. |

| Ive heard that the clear whitish mucus discharge that u are experiencing could mean that u are ready 2 ovulate. Its a good sign if ur trying 2 get pregnant. Have sex every 48 hours!! |

I had the same issue as you and am on the same boat today. I had gotten my period about 1 1/2 days after sexual intercourse, and it was right on schedule. As this was actually my first time, I am a little concerned. So here I am just wondering, if it is still possible to get pregnant at this stage, should I be taking the pill or get tested??? Hopefully someone can get back with some effective information. Thanks a lot!  |
