Period after the Leep!

I had a leep done 2 weeks ago and I was expecting my period around that time. I went in and it did not come on. then about 4 days after the procedure it was on. my period last about 4 days on a regular basis. but since I had the Leep It was very heavy and very painful. It stopped after the 4 days but I've been having a watery brownish discharge since...then today I was laughing with a friend of mine and blood has been gushing out and pieces of flesh also...like a very heavy period....whats going on here?
my period was over for about a week...i have to change pads every 20 mins because it just leaking out!!!
