Ok, so Im used to really heavy periods. The first day is usually hell (pardon my expression but its the truth). This month was great though as far as starting periods go, not a lot of bleeding and such. Well I should be on my fourth day and I have nothing. Im usually heavy untill my third day and then the last two are lighter, but it was light all the way through and almost over by the second and as stated above over on the third day (yesterday). This had me thinking and I realized I had the same type of period last month too, it ended on the fourth day though but was very light and such but I didnt think much of it since I was sick at the time. Anyone have any clues as to what this could be caused by? I highly doubt pregnancy since I dont have any signs or symptoms of it. My worry is something deadly or anything.

I've had everything from very heavy to barely noticeable, painful to imperceptible, but mine were always irregular so never mind that.

So it could be nothing, or you could be still getting over your illness. (Perhaps your uterus lining wasn't very thick this time, because you'd just been sick -- it sounds like the latest one was forming while you were still ill or recovering.) It could be something as simple as stress (mental or physical).

Recent weight loss could also do it (fat is involved in estrogen production).

You might want to get a home pregnancy test anyway, just to rule it out (if it's, you know, possible).

Find a list of symptoms of hyperthyroidism and check it over, though that's pretty unlikely.

If you're still concerned, you get any weird symptoms or pain, or it persists for another couple of months, call your doctor.

I was pretty over being sick from last time. And while I have been under some stress, its nothing out of the ordinary. But it could be as you said with the lining not being thick, possibly for no reason I guess. I havent been loosing any weight, in fact for the last month or so I have put on around maybe five or six pounds but I dont eat healthy and that could be why. I know my Grandmother had Hyperthyroidism so that could possibly end up being a reason. I figure if my period is messed up again next month then I will definitly get it checked out, thanks for your reply though, its always good to hear other peoples opinions.

I think that sounds like a good idea, although if you do know that your family has a history of hyperthyroidism that you should have that investigated as well. Keep us updated on how you're doing, okay?
