Period late - Urine Negative - Blood Negative - But Symptoms

My period is now 1 week late. Have never been late before always 28 day cycle - had sex once 4 days before my period -- got my period -- missed next one --- am 46 years old -- have done 2 urine tests both negative -- one blood test -- negative --- but showing symptoms -- breasts tender -- nausea --- have been told to come back in another week which would be 2 weeks late and do another blood test --- how often can blood tests be wrong.

BLOOD tests are often the most accurate test you will have run.Usually if you are already late and a blood test says NO, then you are most certianly not pregnant.

You are 47?? Perhaps you are becoming pre menopausal, your cycles may get longer and more irregular during this time.
