Periods 6 months late! What can be going on?

I havent had a period in almost 6 months. yet, i havent had intercourse in over a year... what can be the problem?

I go through that all the time. Have you ever heard of polycystice ovary disese..google it and see if it applies to your situation. Also, are you under a lot of stress? Good luck in your search for an answer

As already stated this could be from polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) or due to low body weight. It is very rare for stress to cause an absence of menstruation as long as 6 months. A blood test checking your hormones, ultrasound of ovaries, and/or symptomatic check from your doctor will decide if you are suffering from PCOS or some other condition. In either case it is important to see a professional asap concerning the lack of menstruation and have hormones balanced if need be. Lack of menstruation, or amenorrhea, is linked to lack of absorption of calcium and a leading cause of premature osteoporosis.
