It's been 4 weeks since I had a miscarriage. I have been experiencing brown discharge (for 5 days) like what you get before you come on but no bleeding as of yet. Its definatly not an infection because I feel fine in myself and the discharge is not offensive. I did bleed very heavily after the miscarriage which did not happen naturally, I had to have the medical procedure done. Could this be a period or not? I have been feeling moody and had a few pains but nothing like a normal period. I dont want to miss my chance of getting pregnant again next month so need some good advice ASAP,

Thanks!!

It could be a lighter than normal period, which is not uncommon after a miscarriage.

Thank you for your advice, its much appreciated. Since Friday I have stopped having the brown discharge and no blood appeared so i'm a bit lost as to what to think of it. I'm currently trying for another baby with my fiance and worry I may miss my fertile days of the month. How can I work that out if I have not had a proper period? Im in the 5th week after the miscarriage, if the discharge I was experiencing last week was not my period is there still a chance of me catching at the moment?

I know you can get pregnant 2 weeks after a miscarriage but as I lost so much weight I wanted to wait untill I had built my stengh back up. We both now feel ready and want a baby very much. Any advice on this would be great!
