Hi, I started my first ever packet of the Oral contraceptive pill 6 days ago, I have noticed that my period is quite different...
It's the 6th day now and I am still bleeding, the blood is brown and rather heavy, when I use a tampon there is a lot of blood when I remove it.
well basically it is just a very heavy and long period. Is this breakthrough bleeding as my body adjusts to the pill? Usually by the 5th day its dying down a bit.
also, this period was a bit late (38 days instead of the normal 34) but my periods were never regular, ther vary from 32 to 40 days in cycle length. and the pre menstrual cramping was quite heavy.
so is it just a heavy period or is it the Pill? |
