I am interested in only one topic: Peripheral Neuropathy - drugs used for that condition. My mother, 56 years old has been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy and I would like to know what would be the best treatment and best medicaments for that illness. I have already lost one parent due to a car accident last year; I do not want to lose the other.
There are many forms of peripheral neuropathy and you have not mentioned which type she is suffering from. If she is feeling pain, she may need to use painkiller medications to control nerve hyper sensitivity. Drugs usually used to treat these conditions (and the best ones at the same time) are Anticonvulsants and Tricyclic antidepressants.
