Hi. Is there anyone here who can tell me where I could take my boy to take DPT vaccine. One of the neighbors’ kids recently was diagnosed with Pertussis and I don’t want my son to get it too. Thanks.

Immunization with DPT (diphtheria-pertussis-tetanus) vaccine will sure provide all protection your boy needs. I think that you can get that vaccine in any hospital, and it is probably free. I suggest you take him to his doctor – he will surely know where to send him to get it. Also, if you have more children, you should get one for them as well as the immunity from DPT wears off. That is the main reason why so many teen-agers and adults get pertussis.
